Job description

Wygwam, a division of Niko,  is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to strengthen our team in Poland, specifically focusing on the Central Eastern provinces (Mazowieckie, Łódzkie, Lubelskie, and Podlaskie). This is a growth-oriented role where you will drive the expansion of our market position in switches, sockets, and home automation, while maintaining our expertise in the distribution of presence and motion detectors (Dali-2, KNX, and On-Off systems).

As the Account Manager, you will own the entire project sales cycle within your territory, from identifying opportunities to negotiating orders and managing processing. You will act as a trusted advisor to a diverse network of stakeholders - including planners, architects, investors, installers, wholesalers, and general contractors. In this role, you will balance independent fieldwork with close internal collaboration, ensuring the Niko brand continues to grow and that our customers receive optimal service and support.

Key responsibilities:

Drive the full sales cycle: Manage project identification, acquisition, negotiation, and processing within your assigned territory.

  • Relationship management: Maintain and expand existing contacts while actively acquiring new partners among architects, installers, and wholesalers.
  • Consultative sales: Advise customers during both pre-sales and after-sales phases to ensure technical alignment and satisfaction.
  • Market expansion: Develop the market position of the Niko brand in the Central Eastern region.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate customer and project data in the CRM system and provide weekly/monthly reporting to the Country Sales Manager.
  • Brand representation: Participate in trade fairs, events, and training courses to promote Niko solutions.
  • Customer Excellence: Monitor customer satisfaction by following up closely on issues and providing excellent service.

Profile

What you'll bring:

  • Sales experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in consultative sales or project business regarding technical products.
  • Technical background: Good technical knowledge in building installation; technical training in electrical engineering is highly desirable.
  • Industry knowledge: Specialized knowledge of building/home automation and switches & sockets is a strong advantage.
  • Regional presence: You currently reside within the assigned sales area (Mazowieckie, Łódzkie, Lubelskie, or Podlaskie).
  • Competencies: A goal-oriented, structured way of working with a high level of independence and commitment.
  • Communication: Good written and spoken English, with the ability to work closely with internal sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Digital skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
