Wygwam, a division of the Niko Group, is a dynamic organization specializing in innovative solutions. We are currently looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our sales team and drive our international growth strategy across the EMEA region.
The opportunity
As our new Business Development Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for establishing new relationships with prospects and expanding relationships with existing customers in the home and building automation market. You'll play a pivotal role in implementing our international growth strategy, creating dealer networks and identifying key investment opportunities that drive our business forward.
Key responsibilities
- Create and develop dealer and value-added reseller networks in the home and building automation sector
- Identify important medium and long-term investment opportunities and maintain relationships with the full DMU of resulting projects
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the residential segment, including architects and building promotors
- Engage in cold calling, customer visits, presentations, and trade show participation to promote brand awareness and generate leads
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system
- Collaborate closely with Sales colleagues and cross-departmental teams (Product Marketing, Marketing Communication) to leverage internal resources
- Report directly to the Business Director Residential
