Job description

As a Channel Marketeer, you will play a key role in driving sales growth across multiple distribution channels, including wholesale, DIY, and e-commerce.

Your primary focus will be developing and implementing communication strategies that maximize channel performance while building strong, collaborative relationships with partners.

In this role, you will monitor the performance of campaigns and sales activities, analyzing results to identify areas for improvement. Through market research, you will stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.

Collaborating closely with the Sales team, you’ll tailor messaging, manage promotional activities, and support key partners to ensure effective product promotion and alignment with business goals.

This role offers a mix of hands-on execution and strategic planning, allowing you to make an immediate impact while contributing to long-term growth.

You will be part of the marketing communication team and you will report to the Marketing Communication Manager.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Monitoring campaign and sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Conducting market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Collaborating with the Sales team to create tailored messaging and manage tools, events, and promotional activities.
  • Providing dedicated support to key partners, enabling effective product promotion and maintaining alignment with business goals.
  • You will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including developing communication plans, managing sales tools, and organizing events.
  • You will have the ownership of key projects within the Marketing Communications team, with budget management responsibilities.

Profile

  • You have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in channel marketing or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies to maximize sales across various channels.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Strong affinity with sales processes and experience collaborating effectively with sales teams.
  • Excellent partnership-building skills, particularly with wholesalers,          e-commerce platforms, and other distribution partners.
  • Confidence in assessing and challenging sales requests to ensure alignment with market needs and goals.
  • A balance of strategic insight and operational execution skills.
  • You have experience in a B tot B working environment.
  • Experience in wholesale, DIY, or in e-commerce is a strong plus.
  • Languages: native Dutch speaker and profound knowledge of English and French.
