Job description

As a Business Developer within the EMEA region, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for establishing new relationships with prospects and expanding relationships with existing customers in the home and building automation market. You will play a crucial role in supporting our international growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and creating sales opportunities.
  • Support the team in maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Help in creating dealer and value-added reseller networks in home and building automation.
  • Conduct cold calls, visit customers and prospects, give presentations, and participate in fairs to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Follow trends, market developments, and competition to help identify new business opportunities.
  • Keep administration up to date in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with other sales colleagues and cross-departmental teams to support new business development efforts.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the home and building automation industry.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Good verbal and written knowledge of Dutch, French, and English. Additional languages are a plus.
