Job description

What will you do as an Account Manager?

  •  As Account Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Southwest Germany region with regard to new customer acquisition and existing customer support and will report to the Country Sales Manager.
  • You will be responsible for the distribution network in Southwest Germany with a focus on electrical wholesalers, but also for project customers (electricians, planners, investors).
  • You have good market knowledge in the field of sensor solutions, automation or smart home solutions. Thanks to your industry and product know-how, you are an adequate contact person for complex customer solutions.
  • Together with the sales management, you will develop sales and marketing strategies and implement them in your region.
  • You are responsible for placing and presenting the product portfolio to customers on site and at trade fairs. You will regularly inform your network about promotions and innovations.

Profile

Who are we looking for?

  •  Ideally, you have successfully completed an electrical engineering apprenticeship or have comparable relevant professional experience in the electrical industry.
  • Several years of sales experience in the areas of sensor technology, building automation or smart home solutions.
  • The person we are looking for has sold installation technology (preferably electrical) for applications in the building sector.
  • With your technical know-how, sales skills, you are a convincing personality and can also bring this to bear successfully in the project business.
  • Existing Industry network - in the area of electrical wholesalers and specialist electrical companies / installers in the target area.
  • Supplementary network in the specifier sector (engineering offices, planning offices, architects)
  • Proficient in multi-channel selling - i.e. if necessary, all stages separately of the 3-stage sales channel.
  • Knowing contact persons of the Electrical wholesaler houses and electricians / installers / specifiers and well-integrated there.
  • You have worked on the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies several times in the past.
  • In addition, you have an independent, systematic and professional way of working, including the use of modern CRM software, to control visit sequences with corresponding follow up.
  • Good written and spoken English skills would be desirable.
