For this role, we are looking for two electricians or hands on specialists who are ready to take the next step in their career and move into a more project-based and commercially oriented pre-sales role. Your electrical experience and interest in building technology will help you understand customer needs, interpret technical information and translate it into accurate project proposals and quotations.
The pre-sales technicians we are looking for are responsible for preparing project proposals and quotations for customers, based on information gathered from tenders, customer requests and input from sales colleagues. You’ll work across the relevant product groups within the Wygwam portfolio and play a key role in ensuring customers receive accurate, clear and timely project support.
In this role, you’ll handle project-related customer inquiries through different channels, mainly by phone and email. You’ll make sure every request is followed professionally, within the agreed deadlines, and with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction. To achieve this, you’ll work closely with colleagues in sales, technical teams and other internal departments.
- Create project proposals for customers based on tenders, customer input and information gathered from sales colleagues.
- Prepare quotations based on approved project proposals, as well as direct requests from wholesalers, customers or colleagues.
- Handle customer inquiries related to project support through relevant channels, mainly by phone and email.
- Maintain project mailboxes and ensure every customer receives a reply within 24 hours.
- Follow up customer requests within the agreed deadline and take action when another solution is needed.
- Register all relevant data in the CRM system.
- Save and organize all relevant project documentation according to the agreed structure.
- Ensure that every project proposal follows the department guidelines and contains all required information.
- Keep your calendar up to date with planned project proposals and other relevant tasks to support smooth collaboration with colleagues.
- Carry out all assignments with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and clear documentation.
- Work in a structured and systematic way, aiming for error-free results while continuously improving processes and output.
