Who are we looking for?

 

The product cyber security engineer we are looking for, is ensuring that products we put on the market are securely designed and maintained. Making sure product cyber security compliance is not just a checkbox but part of our product lifecycle DNA. To reach this goal you’ll work closely with product development teams, product management and quality. Your responsibilities include, not limited to, conducting security risk assessments, supporting security testing and incident response. You’ll help Improving the product cyber security strategy and help implementing it.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Ensure that all products brought to market are securely designed, developed, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
  • Integrate product cyber security requirements into the product lifecycle process, making security a core part of the organization’s culture rather than a compliance checkbox.
  • Execute and document product cyber security risk assessments and threat modeling
  • Support and coordinate product security testing activities, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and secure code reviews.
  • Manage the vulnerability lifecycle: identify, assess, prioritize, and support remediation of vulnerabilities in collaboration with development teams.
  • Support compliance with relevant cyber security regulations and standards such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Radio Equipment Delegated Act (RED DA), and internal company policies.
  • Help shape, refine, and implement the wider product cyber security strategy, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory needs.
  • Work closely with Product Management, R&D, and Quality teams to ensure smooth integration of cyber security controls in the product roadmap, development and maintenance phases.
  • Contribute to incident response activities, providing product-specific security expertise when security events occur.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of secure product development practices and security-by-design principles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of OWASP (e.g., Top 10, ASVS) and practical experience applying these concepts in product development.
  • Experience with cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Radio Equipment Delegated Act (RED DA) and management systems like ISO 27001.
  • Solid understanding of vulnerability management processes and common vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable guidance for product teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize security risks.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and capable of driving security improvements across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good communication skills in English; able to influence, educate, and support stakeholders at different technical levels.
